    Default URGENT: Should I audition?

As some of you know, I'm a long-time fan of Big Brother and a regular contributor on RealityBBQ. I'm also an unremarkable, white 54-year-old gay man who is non-stereotypical, and who holds non-conforming views. Are those disqualifying? I've just learned there is an open casting call near me on Saturday 3/18. Should I bother? Any thoughts are welcome.

Absolutely! The worst that could happen is you don't get chosen, and you wasted some time at a cattle call. But...you might make it. You know the game well enough that I believe you'd do well. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback, Cuppycake. I appreciate it. I had hoped for more. The casting call is an hour away, and I'll have only about an hour to attend the call before I'll have to leave for other commitments. Even still, I might take the chance if I had any hope of getting them to change their casting practices. We'll see. I'll keep you posted (if you care).

Casting is adamant that attending a casting call is looked at exactly like an online submission. Apply online at the very least! Just wanted to make you aware of this in case you didn't want to make the drive.

Consider it an adventure. Have fun At the very least you will have experienced a portion of the Big Brother process. No regrets. Perhaps this year it's "an unremarkable, white 54-year-old gay man who is non-stereotypical, and who holds non-conforming views." that ends up being part of their formula for this cast.

I know I am a little late as I have not been in here in a while. Yes, I really hope you did.
