Default "Housecalls" has been cancelled...

Housecalls has been canceled for this season.

From Gretchen Massey's MySpace page:

Subject: House Calls Canceled!
Body: Just wanted everyone to know, there's no more House Calls! They couldn't find a sponsor and have decided not to go forward with it during this season of Big Brother.

Sorry to all our fans - I'll miss you!

Gretchen
Next thing you know they'll be canceling the feeds, LoL. I'd pitch such a fit!

What the hell? Seriously? I would say perhaps they found a better companion show, but since they did not wish to continue with it due to lack of sponsor, I doubt they did find a companion show. :(

Could someone please link me to her blog for our blog? haha

I'm on the fence. I liked house calls but it was never a MUST watch type of deal. The only time it was worth tuning in was when something 'juicy' happened - which is/was rare. :(

But I'm a bit surprised that Real didn't jump on that. It would be easier to do a Live Feed type thing and have people call in.

No loss really.. Gretchen didn't even watch the livefeeds anyway. And the only guest host that was fun was Evel Dick last year....

They better not kill the feeds or cheapen them, or I won't bother with BB. The FEEDS make BB. Period.

I've never really watched it.. As long as they leave the feeds alone, I'm happy.

In all the years I have watched BB, I think I watched HC less than 5 times.

Just keep the feeds and I will be happy.

I've watched it once! and I'm sure the reason is Economic Down Time =P that they axed the show, not due to sponsorship.

I'm sad about this. I love Gretchen (and Bunky) on Housecalls. I did not want to hear this news.

Same feelings here, I never watched HouseCalls either, I was never really home when it was on during the day here on the east coast, plus it never held much interest for me.
Now, likewise, the feeds would be a totally different matter.

It was something for me to watch at my desk during lunch - I'll miss it but I'm not heartbroken LOL. I thought it was more fun when Jase was hosting, Gretchen is kinda of a snore.

IF they ever bring back a show like this for BB, they NEED to be able to discuss the feeds. To hell with worrying about "spoiling" people, the folks watching it aren't worried about that!
